A new survey shows coronavirus concerns continue to weigh heavily on people's travel choices.

An online survey conducted by WalletHub found that 40% of people would pay more to travel on a fully vaccinated flight or stay in a fully vaccinated hotel or resort.

The survey, which focused on 2021 winter travel plans, also found 27% of people will not travel this winter due to COVID-19. Twenty-nine percent of those people say that they simply cannot afford to travel, while 62% of overall participants are worried about inflation in the price of travel accommodations.

Despite this, the survey also mentions that more than two-thirds of Americans still plan to travel this winter. According to the travel website Expedia, popular destinations this year include beaches in Mexico and the mountains in Utah and Colorado.
