WORCESTER, Mass. — Two local businesses are teaming up to raise money for the Planned Parenthood in Worcester.

Miraculous Creations and Jennifer Lee's Bakery hosted a 'Flash Day' fundraiser.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the tattoo shop and 50% from the bakery will go to the women's health clinic.

A 'Flash Day' is known as a day where tattoos are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tattoos were themed, with many having phrases like 'My body, my choice.'

Staff at Miraculous Creations said they were excited about Monday’s turnout.

"I think it shows that, even on an American holiday when most people take it easy and obviously doing what they'd normally be doing, so many people have come in,” said Miraculous Creation’s Floor Manager Benjamin Jones. “This is something important. I think it's encouraging to see people come in and also come in in droves. We haven't stopped at the register all day."

Jones said they booked dozens of appointments throughout the day, with some artists selling out all their spots for Monday.
