Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza, alongside the mayor, unveiled a new grading policy on Tuesday for students of all ages engaged in remote learning.

It's a policy that not everyone supports, but Mayor de Blasio says it was necessary given the global health crisis.

Carranza talked through the new policy on Mornings On 1 via Skype, and offered some insight on what education in the city could look like in the months to come.

He says nothing is off the table—which even means students may alternate days in which they are physically present in a classroom when in-person learning resumes.
