NEW YORK - For the first time ever, scientists are tracking a Great White shark in the Long Island Sound.
The group Ocearch first tagged the shark — which they're calling Cabot — in Nova Scotia.
New data shows him on the north side of Long Island.
Ocearch is running a Twitter account for Cabot.
After the latest ping, it tweeted, "Hey guys! Anyone know of some fun things to do around here? I’m excited for a new adventure!"
Cabot is 9' 8" long and weighs 533 pounds.
