NEW YORK CITY - Mayor Bill de Blasio reported Sunday that the city's positivity rate stands at a seven-day-rolling average of 9.08%, ticking slightly down from yesterday.

In the past 24 hours, there were more than 3,800 new cases in the city and 213 new hospitalizations, according to the mayor.

Governor Cuomo reported more than 142,000 New Yorkers were tested for the coronavirus yesterday across the state and more than 11,000 tests came back positive. 

That brings the state's single-day positivity rate to 7.98%.

Hospitalizations are at nearly 8,000, according to Cuomo, and 138 New Yorkers died from COVID-19 yesterday.
