WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas – More than 17 years after her disappearance the Federal Bureau of Investigation has not stopped looking for Rachel Cooke.

On May 10, what would have been Cooke’s 37th birthday, the FBI unveiled a new billboard on Interstate 35 offering a reward to find her. The reward to find Cooke is now up $100,000.

In 2002 Cooke was a 19-year-old student at San Diego Mesa College in California who was home visiting her family in Georgetown while on winter break. On January 10, 2002, Cooke’s mother left for work and never saw her daughter again.

Authorizes believe Cooke left her home at 9:30 a.m. to go on a daily four-mile run. The last sighting of Cooke was her walking towards her home, just 200 yards away. She was wearing a gray running outfit, green sports bra, Asics running shoes and a yellow Walkman with sports-style headphones.

At the time of her disappearance, Cooke's height was 5-feet-3-inches tall and she weighed 115 pounds. She has with blue/hazel eyes and had blonde hair with highlights. She has two heart-shaped cherries tattooed on her left foot near her pinky toe, multiple ear piercings, and a navel piercing.

On April 13, 2018, Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody said through a tip to police they found a car connected to three or four persons of interest in the Cooke case. The car, a Pontiac Trans Am, was found in the Dallas area and matches the description of the vehicle witnesses saw the day Cooke disappeared.
