After a quiet weekend and slowly falling water levels, it appears that more rain is on the way this upcoming week. We got a break from the wet weather this weekend with some sun poking through the clouds today.  Highs will be in the low 70s.

Clouds will start increasing tonight into Monday as our next rain maker to our south starts to take control of our weather.  Hurricane Willa over the Pacific off the west coast of Mexico will spread moisture northward into the Lone Star state overnight into Monday.  With a southerly flow aloft this moisture will increase and bring rain to the area Monday afternoon.  It appear that this slow moving tropical system will continue to bring good chances for rain through at least the first half of next week.  With all ready saturated soils, flooding will be a concern as well.  Widespread 1 to 3 inches is expected. Temperatures will remain below normal with highs in the 60s.

By Friday we should start to dry out and warm up into next weekend
