A staff member in the Shenendehowa Central School District has tested positive for COVID-19, the district announced Sunday.
The individual is a woker at Tesago Elementary School in Clifton Park and has not been at work since Monday, March 9.

“We have been in contact with the Saratoga County Health Department,” the district said in a statement. “Out of an abundance of caution district staff has been working diligently today to clean and disinfect Tesago/Skano. Custodial staff in all buildings are cleaning and disinfecting schools and buses in accordance with NYS DOH recently distributed Cleaning Guidance for Schools.”
There are numerous confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Albany County.
