SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: The UAlbany men's basketball team will look a whole lot different next year as Scotia grad Joe Cremo and David Nichols are transferring out.  Cremo was a first team all conference player this season and led the Great Danes with about 18 points per game and nearly 4 assists per game.

The junior guard tells us "For me it wasn't personal I just want a fresh opportunity and to challenge myself at a high major program."  He went on to say "I have no regrets.  I try to make everyone happy and I know this isn't going to make everyone happy, but I wanted to do this for myself."

Cremo will graduate in July so he won't have to sit out a season and can play right away at his new school.

David Nichols is also graduating in the summer and will not have to sit out at his next school.  Nichols averaged about 15 points and 4.5 rebounds per game this season for UA.

Nichols tells us "I enjoyed my team and appreciate the coaching staff for the opportunity they gave me, just time for a change and an opportunity to challenge myself at a higher level."
