SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Columbia continues to impress early on this season.  The Blue Devils showed off their defense in their first two wins of the year, but Friday night they showed off the offense.  Columbia rolled past Amsterdam 55-25 to improve to 3-0 on the season.

The Blue Devils had built up an early 21-6 lead in the 2nd quarter when Darryl Williams broke off a 38 yard touchdown run to make it 28-6.  Amsaterdam had a comeback in them though, the Rams scored the next two touchdowns including a nice catch from Rein Desbiens that made it 28-18.

The Blue Devils responded scoring the next two touchdowns to put this one to bed.  Columbia is certainly looking like a contender in Class A in Head Coach Bob Treacy's second season.  Next up for the Blue Devils is a date with Schuylerville next weekend.
