RALEIGH — Many people are eager to get outside and work, as warm weather continues to grace the Tar Heel state. And all weekend long, the Downtown Raleigh Home Show is jam-packed with ideas and events, including celebrity appearances. 

Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with the host of the DIY Network’s "I Hate My Yard," Sara Bendrick, for some tips on how to spruce up the outside of our homes. She also offered up some of the years hottest home trends, and explained why she loves meeting her fans face-to-face. 

Also offering advice at this years DRHS, is HGTV and Food Network’s Taniya Nayak. You can also explore a custom-built inspiration home and featured gardens that will offer tipos on living luxuriously. 

If you would like to attend the 2018 Downtown Raleigh Home show at the Raleigh Convention Center, doors are open Friday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for adults at the box office and $7, while children get in for free.
