After seeing dry weather and nice weather on Thursday, we will see more unsettled weather through the night and into Friday as an area of low pressure moves over the Carolinas.

We started our Thursday with sunshine but as we worked our way into the late afternoon, clouds began to increase across the state.  As low pressure moves closer to the region, moisture will increase through the night and our chances for rain will increase through the night.  There is also a chance for isolated thunderstorms overnight into Friday morning.

We should more sunshine develop through the day on Friday with only a small chance for a few isolated showers possible into Friday afternoon.

Skies will clear into Friday night and we'll start Saturday with sunshine. A cold front will sweep across the area on Saturday afternoon, producing a few clouds as it passes with no precipitation.

A new area of high pressure will control our weather as we wrap-up the weekend on Sunday.
