CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A former Myers Park High School students who reported being sexually assaulted behind the school in 2015 has filed a lawsuit, over how officials handled the incident.

According to the filing, the plaintiff says another student forced her into the woods.

She says she texted friends telling them to tell the school resource officer, who she says did nothing. Her father says the officer told him his daughter was just skipping school.
