Emergency officials are urging those who have to hit the roads today to drive slow, as black ice is often hard to spot.

Although the state isn’t expecting any more rain for the next several days, ice could stay a problem through the afternoon today, and possibly longer for shaded areas in the mountains.

It is advised that you give yourself extra time on your commute this morning.
