  • South End Social will host another clean up in the Spring

South End Social hosted the clean up Saturday, November 18. Keep Charlotte Beautiful provided trash bags and other supplies and Lola & Max Bodega held an after party event for volunteers.

People living in South End cleaned up along the rail trail and around the area, getting to know each other as they worked.

Bethany Bromley volunteered in the clean up and said "We're picking up trash, talking to people, talking about who lives where, everybody is local to the neighborhood so you usually end the day making some friends."

South End Social will host another clean up in the spring.
