A cold front continues to push through North Carolina Tuesday morning and will clear to the east of the coast by Tuesday evening. Ahead of the front, we'll deal with cloud cover and a chance for showers today. Behind that, cool and dry high pressure will move back in Wednesday into Thanksgiving!

Skies will continue to remain fairly cloudy through the day Tuesday with a chance for a light, spot shower or two across the region through the second half of the day. Expect skies to clear by this evening as the cold front moves offshore. Highs will be in the low to upper 60s before cooling into the upper 30s for many by Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will be about ten degrees cooler than Tuesday behind the front.  A beautiful but chilly day will line up for Wednesday with wall-to-wall blue sky and highs in the upper 40s to mid/upper 50s.

High pressure will stick around through Thanksgiving, bringing us a day of mostly sunny skies Thursday with highs even a tad cooler than Wednesday's. By Thursday evening, a back door cold front will begin moving in from the north and bring yet another shot of cold air for Friday. Expect a night near freezing for many across the coast heading into Black Friday morning before temps make a rebound back to near 60 degrees for Wilmington by Friday afternoon.
