We have entered an unsettled weather pattern in our part of the country. A big trough in the western US will occasionally shoot disturbances our way, and the result will be rounds of rain from time to time through the next 5-7 days.

A batch of rain continues to progress through the area today, and after the rain departs, some lingering drizzle will remain possible through the night ahead.

Look for lots of clouds for our Sunday, and some rain will become increasingly likely later in the day and into Sunday night.

At this point, Monday looks like the pick weather day of the week with rain chances diminishing by afternoon, some intervals of sun, and milder temperatures.

Our next disturbance then rolls in Tuesday with rain becoming likely again. Those rain chances will extend through Tuesday night and into Wednesday.

The unsettled pattern then continues through the end of the week the chance of some showers persisting.
