It's been more than three months since the 2018 elections and no one is representing that part of the state in Washington D.C.

Ever since, there has been a battle between the political parties.

Some voters say, at the very least, people of the district should go back to the polls.

The 9th district isn't small, with five counties and parts of three other southern counties affected. The seat has been held by a republican since 1963.

The public hearing starts at 10 a.m. Monday morning and could go on until Wednesday.
