WENDELL, N.C. – WakeMed has purchased 11 acres of land in Wendell and plans to build a new health care campus.

The new campus will be a part of Wendell Falls, a large master-planned community, featuring a variety of professional and creative office space.

Hospital officials said medical office spaces will be built first, and the complex has plenty of space for future expansion.
