Showers and a few claps of thunder are possible early Friday morning, but will exit the state by around midday. 

Behind the rain, temperatures drop considerably with many highs back in the 50s Friday afternoon, with Friday night falling back into the 40s.

Chilly mornings are in the forecast both days, with lows in the 30s for much of the state. 

Monday also looks dry before showers return Tuesday.
