MAUI, HAWAII -- A North Carolina family is in Hawaii, searching for their missing daughter and sister.
- A woman has been missing in Maui for a week.
- It is believed she may have been jogging in a forest.
- Family members from North Carolina are searching for her.
Amanda Eller, 35, disappeared a week ago. She was last seen on surveillance video last Wednesday. Cameras show Eller, who works as a physical therapist, leaving a post office after mailing a Mother's Day package to North Carolina.
But by the time the package arrived, her family had already flown to Maui to look for her. It is believed she went for a jog in the forest. Her car was found there the next day, with her phone and wallet inside, and her keys hidden under a tree.
Eller's mother says police do not consider her daughter's boyfriend a suspect. The parents are offering a $10,000 reward for her safe return. They live in Southport in Brunswick County.
