As coronavirus restrictions are being lifted across the state, Governor Andy Beshear (D) says in-person services for those being affected can now take place.

This week, in-person assistance has been available near the capitol and has reached maximum capacity. Those who arrived after the cutoff point Wednesday had their information collected and will be contacted next week so their claims can be worked on.

The Office of Unemployment Insurance will provide in-person services Thursday, June 18, and Friday, June 19 from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services which is located at 275 E. Main Street in Frankfort. There will be signs directing people where they need to go.

Thursday there will be a separate line for those who filed claims in March. On Friday, there will be a line set up for those who applied in March and April.

The state is working to come up with additional times and locations for in-person services. For more information, visit kcc.ky.gov and click the "In-Person UI Services” button for up to date information.
