ORLANDO, Fla. – D23, the official Disney fan club, has released more details about the Destination D23 event coming to Disney World this November.

The three-day event, which will be held Nov. 19-21 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, will include a number of presentations and experiences, including an update on Disney park projects and a 50th anniversary exhibit.

Disney CEO Chapek will kick off the event with a welcome presentation, while Disney Parks chairman D’Amaro will share updates about upcoming Disney projects during a Parks, Experiences and Products presentation called “What’s New and What’s Next.”

The event will also feature a special exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives called “50 Years of Bringing Home the Magic,” which will cover decades of Disney World merchandise—from figurines to pins and plushes.

There will also be performances from Michael James Scott (Genie in Disney on Broadway’s “Aladdin”) and Disney acapella group DCappella.

Other presentations include “Musical Memories of Walt Disney World,” a journey through Disney World melodies with Walt Disney Imagineering; as well as “Weird Disney World,” a look at some of the resort’s “wildest and wackiest” moments.

More presenters and presentations are expected to be announced soon.

Tickets for Destination D23 will go on sale July 29 for D23 Gold Members.
