The highly-anticipated new trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" dropped during Monday Night Football, leaving fans with more questions than answers.
The trailer debuted during halftime of Monday’s game between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings on ESPN.
Tickets for the eighth installment in the franchise also went on sale, but already there are reports of website issues.
Some theater chains are offering exclusive deals if you purchased tickets Monday night.
The trailer extensive new scenes of characters Luke, Rey and Kylo Ren, along with an extended voiceover by First Order Supreme Leader Snoke.
While some scenes tantalize with action, others will leave viewers further questioning where these characters now fit in the galaxy.

The Star Wars Twitter account also released a new final poster for the film, which makes heavy use of the color red:

“The Last Jedi” picks up where 2015’s “The Force Awakens” left off, with Rey (Daisy Ridley) finding Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill)
A teaser trailer was released in April during Star Wars Celebration in Orlando.
“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” arrives in theaters Dec. 15.
