An Orlando man was killed Wednesday morning after the pickup truck he was driving crashed into a tree in east Orange County.

The accident happened at about 6:45 a.m. near East Colonial Drive and St. Nicholas Avenue.
The 29-year-old man was driving a 2005 Nissan pickup truck eastbound on Colonial when the truck left the roadway, struck a tree and and ejected him, Florida Highway Patrol tropers said.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said in a crash report.
The man's name has not been released. The crash is under investigation.
