Sumter County Sheriff's Office deputies say Brian Christopher Davis robbed the manager at the Belle Glade Country Club in The Villages around 1 a.m., Tuesday.
He then got away and barricaded himself inside his girlfriend's parents' home in The Village of La Belle, authorities stated. Then at about noon, deputies say the 33-year-old Davis got into a car, ran over stop sticks and drove off.
Deputies fired shots at the car and chased Davis into Lake County, where he was captured.
