The man who founded 1-800-ASK-GARY was arrested in Manatee County and charged with DUI.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said a vehicle driven by Gary Kompothecras, 57, was traveling 100 mph early Thursday on the JD Young Bridge in Bradenton.
The vehicle was stopped, and a deputy "could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage" from the vehicle.
Kompothecras was instructed to do a number of tests that he failed, and he was placed under arrest, according to an arrest report.
He also refused to provide a breath sample, authorities said.
He was taken to the Manatee County Jail.
Kompothecras has a son, Alex, who stars on the MTV reality show Siesta Key.
The website for 1-800-ASK-GARY refers to the company as "an attorney and medical referral service for people involved in an auto accident or other type of personal injury in Florida."
