The medical examiner has released its findings after a Cirque du Soleil aerialist died during a weekend performance in Tampa.

Yann Arnaud, 38, fell while performing on the double rings. One of his hands slipped, and he fell approximately 20-30 feet to the stage below.
He died at Tampa General Hospital.
According to the medical examiner's report, Arnaud died of skull fractures with contusions, and hemorrhages of his brain due to blunt impact.
Arnaud, who was performing during the show VOLTA, was unresponsive when Tampa Fire Rescue and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews responded.
He was taken to the hospital and went into cardiac arrest during surgery, the medical examiner said.
He died at 3:33 a.m. Sunday. He is survived by spouse Inna Gorelova.
