ORLANDO, Fla. — After a cool day, temps have tumbled across the area and more chilly air is expected overnight.

A Frost Advisory is in effect for Marion and Inland Flagler counties, where areas of frost may develop toward daybreak.

Patchy frost is also possible north of Metro Orlando, so potted plants should be moved indoors. Overnight lows will be in the upper 30 and low 40s, with mid 30s likely in the Ocala area.

In Brevard County, His Place Ministries has opened a cold weather shelter at its Melbourne location, along with Sharing Brevard at its Cocoa location, and Mosaic Church at its Palm Bay location.

Slightly warmer weather is on the way for Monday. Expect plenty of sun during the day with slightly warmer temps. Highs for Monday will be in the mid to upper 60s.

Warmer weather is also expected on Tuesday. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.

Another cold front will arrive very early Wednesday. The front may spark a few sprinkles, but will provide a reinforcing shot of cooler air. Highs for Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 60s.

Temps take off by late week as southerly winds return to the area. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid 70s, with temps on Friday back into the low 80s. A few isolated showers will also be possible late Friday.

Right now, next weekend looks warm. A few showers will also be possible both Saturday and Sunday. Highs for next weekend will be in the low 80s.

SURF & BOATING FORECAST

Boaters should expect good conditions on Monday, with light northerly winds and seas 2-3 feet. Surfers will have poor conditions, with a small easterly swell. The rip current threat will be low on Monday.
