We’ll close the weekend with warmth and storms. The high humidity will remain in place, allowing some places to see heat indices above 105.
Scattered showers and storms will also develop in the evening hours, with highs in the low 90s.
The first day of school on Monday will have some active weather. It will quiet in the morning, but showers and storms are likely by afternoon. Highs for Monday will be in the low 90s.

Our stagnant weather pattern continues for most of next week. Expect morning sunshine, with scattered showers and storms developing in the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures for the rest of next week will hold in the low 90s.
It looks like the tropical moisture will remain in place for next weekend, resulting in again decent coverage of storms. Highs for next weekend will be in the low 90s.
BOATING AND SURF CONDITIONS
Boaters should once again watch out for afternoon showers and storms on Sunday, with a light westerly breeze.
Surfers will find very poor conditions, with just a minor east-southeasterly swell. The rip current threat is moderate for Sunday, with Atlantic water temps in the low to mid 80s.
TROPICAL UPDATE
Things remain quiet in the tropics this weekend. There are no major issues in the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean or the open waters of the Atlantic.
No major activity is expected over the next 5 days.
