Paychex founder and philanthropist Tom Golisano challenged the $140,000 tax bill on his Canandaigua Lake property before the Town of South Bristol Assessment Review Board on Tuesday.

He's withholding fees and says the town has not helped him resolve a significant geese problem. He even brought along a plastic goose to emphasize his point.

Golisano says the value of his property has decreased due to geese droppings. He added that his grandchildren and pets can't go outside on the property in the summer.

The billionaire has challenged two property assessments before, successfully renegotiating the value on two homes in the state.
