ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Rochester police have identified the man shot and killed on Rochester's north side Saturday afternoon.

Police say Amos Harring, 23, was shot just after 12:30 p.m. on Skuse Street, north of downtown Rochester.

Officers say Harring was shot once in the lower body inside a home. He was taken by private vehicle to Rochester General Hospital where he died.

There's no word yet on a suspect, motive or what led up to the shooting.
