Friday marks one year since the death of 14-year-old Trevyan Rowe, a Rochester student on the autism spectrum who wandered away from school and was found dead in the Genesee River.

Three RCSD staffers were put on leave after an investigation found Rowe was marked present at school on the day of his disappearance, and that some tried to change attendance records during the investigation.

The Monroe County district attorney said last month no criminal charges will be filed in connection with Rowe's death.

The results of the state Education Department's probe into his death have still not been released.
