SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Zoo has had a change of heart towards Kawhi Leonard.
The zoo, when it heard the news that Leonard was considering a move away from the beloved San Antonio Spurs, rescinded his membership. On Wednesday, CEO Tim Morrow posed with a duster next to a new “Reserved for Kawhi Leonard" parking space.

We’ve had a moment to get over the shock of media reports that you might not love San Antonio and the Spurs as much as we do. We really want you back and our CEO, @MananaZoo has been cleaning your new personal VIP parking space! #Spurs #SAZoo #Kawhi pic.twitter.com/elBRIReJZw

Reports of Leonard wanting to leave the Spurs and to be traded surfaced a few days ago.
The zoo’s knee jerk reaction, like many Spurs fans, was to give him the boot.

We have recently become aware that one of our members intends to move. Kawhy? We have no idea, but his membership is now null and void and up for grabs.

Will the change of heart make him stay? You know what they say, kill ‘em with kindness.
