WAXAHACHIE, Texas — The boy at the center of an AMBER Alert Friday has died.

According to the Waxahachie Police Department, at approximately 6:35 p.m. the vehicle that had been listed in the AMBER Alert was located in a Waxahachie parking garage.

Waxahachie police went to the location after being advised that there were two unresponsive people in the vehicle. The two were deceased upon arrival, and were visually identified as the missing child, Phillip "Ollie" Weidemann, and his mother, Candace Harbin.

Earlier in the day, John Wiedemann called police saying his six-year-old son and the Harbin dissapeared. After attempts to locate the two, the AMBER Alert was issued for the boy, and a warrant for kidnapping was issued for Harbin.

The cause of death has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
