VALENCIA, Calif. -- In just a month this skating rink in Valencia will pack up and move.

It’s called Pop Sk8 at the Westfield Valencia Town Center. This rink will only be in Valencia for a little while. Then it will move on to Woodland Hills for a month, and finish in Culver City by early August.

It sounds unusual, but it's a lot cheaper than building a permanent place to skate.

This is the first year for Pop Sk8. It opened May 4. Whether it comes back next year all depends on these next three months.

“It’s fun. It’s different. I haven’t done it for a long time. Her first time, she did pretty good for her first time, huh?” said Taylor Pina, a father who brought his two young daughters to the rink.

Pop Sk8 is open seven days a week.
