A former NFL star is scoring points with some Staten Island students and their parents.

For the third year in a row, former Miami Dolphin and Chicago Bear, Adewale Ogunleye, donated 300 turkeys to his former elementary school.

P.S. 57 students were able to take a turkey home for Thanksgiving.

While there Ogunleye also offered up some words of advice, shedding light on different career tracks students can pursue.

"I had a goal that eventually I'm going to travel the world and see the world and change people's lives. It came true. So I want these kids now to go full speed. Have goals. And try to go get them," Ogunleye said.

Ogunleye hopes to inspire students and ease expenses for families during the holiday season.
