Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Tuesday into Wednesday morning, along with a look at conditions through New Year's Eve.

  • Morning fog
  • More clouds
  • Seasonable temps

The last front brought us seasonable conditions where the lows have been seasonably cool and the afternoon highs have been pleasant. That will continue to be the case into Wednesday.

Expect partly cloudy skies with some areas of fog developing into Wednesday morning. Lows will be in the 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday will feature more clouds in the area, so we’ll call it variably cloudy. There will be just enough moisture for a couple of passing showers, but the coverage will be limited to about 20 percent.

High temperatures will still be mild, mainly in the mid 70s.

Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with areas of fog and lows in the 50s to low 60s.

Thursday will be variably cloudy again with a small chance of a passing shower.

High temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower, but still comfortable, mainly in the low to mid 70s.

Friday through Sunday of this week looks seasonable, with overnight lows in the 50s to upper 40s, while the daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70s.

The weather looks mostly quiet until we get to late weekend into next Monday.  That’s when we expect the next strong cold front that will likely bring a colder pattern.
