Friday's severe weather chances have led to some events being canceled or postponed.

- In Pasco County, schools Superintendent Kurt Browning has canceled all of Friday’s after school athletic activities.  School leaders can use their best judgment to make decisions about whether to cancel other events and activities that don’t require district transportation.

- The City of Seminole says its Fill the Boat has been moved to Sunday, Decemeber 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

- The City of Winter Haven says Friday's Praise in the Park event has been canceled.

- In Downtown Lakeland, all of the outdoor activities and special events scheduled for the Holiday Walkabout for tonight have been rescheduled for next Friday, December 21 — the wagon rides, face painting, live music, Santa photos, and gingerbread contest and workshop.

- In Tarpon Springs, Wheelchairs 4 Kids says its dinner at The Palm Pavillion will not be held. Pizza will be served at the Aquarium.
