Monday afternoon, the Pasco Sheriff's Office received a call about a cow that had escaped from its trailer which left traffic backed up on I-75 between mile marker 282 and 283.

Some lanes had to close, as the cow was running along the interstate.

Pasco’s Agricultural Unit Cpl. Keener and other members of the Sheriff's Office responded and helped the owner get the cow back into its trailer by constructing a temporary pen and coaxing the cow into it.

Pasco authorities are glad that no one, or no cow, was hurt during this incident and are proud of the service of their men and women.
