TAMPA, Fla. - It’s becoming an annual tradition in Tampa: Titus O’Neil’s Back to School Bash.

The WWE star held his 4th annual event at Raymond James Stadium, through his Bullard Family Foundation.

Students got free haircuts, dental exams, eye exams, physicals, food and school supplies to start the new school year.

“I was one of these kids that needed these types of services,” Titus said in an interview - real name Thaddeus Bullard. “I came from a single parent home, mother of four. We have a chance to really show some gratitude, show some dignity to these families that sometimes aren’t shown that.”

He even brought along one of his famous friends to help out, rapper Flo Rida. He hosted a battle of the bands among local schools.

“To be here today is an honor,” Flo Rida said. “Anytime Titus asks me to do anything, I’ll be there. Because I know it comes from a great place. He’s very faithful and I’m always here to support him.”

The foundation teamed with many local partners like Advent Health to put the event on.

Volunteers packed 30,000 backpacks with school supplies, meant for families in need of some help before the school year.

“I spend lot of money getting stuff for school,” said parent Lakeisha Brown, who came to the event with her three kids. “Stuff like haircuts was the last thing we were thinking about. So the fact they’re doing that is a big deal. We really appreciate it.”

This was the first Back to School Bash held in person since 2019 because last year’s was held virtually.
