ROBBINS, N.C. -- You expect to hear about an Easter Egg Hunt this time of year, but have you ever heard of an Ostrich Easter Egg Hunt?

About 300 people who went out to the Misty Morning Ranch got to take part in just that. Folks at the ranch took their time and hid 18 hollowed-out ostrich eggs for the searchers to locate.  For the past couple of years, this ranch has started to raise ostriches as an alternative form of meat product.

Saturday, they held this unique event as a fundraiser to help the teachers at a local pre-school and the Ostrich Easter Egg Hunt was only part of the activities for the day. Spectators also had a chance to tour the ranch and see some of the big birds up close.
